Woodbridge Community Sports Facility

Woodbridge Soccer Club, in conjunction with Woodbridge Cricket Club, has submitted an application to build new facilities, comprising changing rooms and clubroom at the western (upper) end of Woodbridge Oval. Kingborough Council has approved funding of $120,000, with a further $80,000 to come in a grant from Sport and Recreation Tasmania. The balance is to be made up in the form of in-kind contributions from the two clubs. This will obviously require substantial input of time and effort from all our members. Please think about what you can contribute to this substantial investment in the future of sport in this area and contact us with your ideas/suggestions.

Final details are yet to be determined but it is hoped that the project will be completed in 2012. We will be meeting with Council soon to discuss the way forward. Watch this space.

The new rosters should be available by the 20th June, on the CRJSA website.
